At Canalside Quarter, The Hill Group wanted to add a touch of fun and curiosity to their marketing suite, something that would delight children and families while giving visitors an unforgettable experience. So, we teamed up once again with Greydot Studio Limited to create a digital game where excitement meets exploration: Where is Billy the Bear?

Designed to complement our interactive bike routes explorer (case-study here), this lighthearted game brings The Hill Group’s lovable mascot, Billy the Bear, to life in a playful challenge. Children (and grown-ups too!) can spin, swipe, and tap their way around the 3D site to find where Billy is hiding, making every visit to the marketing suite a joyful, interactive adventure.

The challenges

The Hill Group wanted a fun, family-friendly experience that would engage younger visitors, help manage busy days in the marketing suite, and tie neatly into the identity of Canalside Quarter and its community spirit.

The Solutions

We created a touchscreen-based game with simple, intuitive controls: users can orbit around the digital development using just one finger, hunting for hidden Billys scattered throughout the site. With five progressively challenging levels, players must find more Billys in less time, each round adding a little extra excitement. To top it off, we built a reward system that generates a unique completion code once players conquer the final level, which they can proudly show to the Sales Agent for a surprise prize.

The RESULTs

The result is a fun-filled, interactive experience that instantly brings smiles and laughter into the marketing suite. It keeps kids entertained, gives parents time to explore the development, and reinforces The Hill Group’s warm, family-oriented brand. Where is Billy the Bear? turns a property visit into a mini celebration, proof that even house-hunting can be playtime when Billy’s around!
